On July 25th, RISE Church will be joining alongside several other churches across Milwaukee for a citywide outreach event called MKE Better Together at Washington Park.

This event is all about serving our city, loving our neighbors, and showing Milwaukee what it looks like when churches come together for the Kingdom.

The Vision

1. Share the Hope of Jesus

We’ll engage in spiritual conversations, pray with people, and create opportunities to share the Gospel with our community.

2. Serve Families & Those in Need

We’ll be providing practical support and resources for people throughout Milwaukee. Planned initiatives include:

• Free haircuts

• Diaper & wipes giveaways

• Grocery bag food distributions

• Additional community support resources

3. Create a Fun & Welcoming Environment

This will be a day the whole family can enjoy with activities like:

• Bounce houses

• Crafts

• Face painting

• Police and fire department involvement

• Community connection opportunities

4. Show Unity in the Church

Multiple churches throughout Milwaukee—including Evolve Church, Epikos, RISE, and others—will be partnering together to serve side-by-side in love.

We believe this is an incredible opportunity to be “on mission for Jesus” together and to be part of something bigger than ourselves as we serve our city.
