Saturday Women's Bible Study Begins
We invite all women to join us this fall as we dive into the book of James, with teaching by Francis Chan.
James challenges believers with a simple but powerful truth: true faith produces fruit. A faith that does not lead to action and life change is ultimately a dead faith. In this study, we will walk through the realities of a living faith in Jesus—one that is active, persevering, and grounded in an authentic relationship with the risen Lord.

Tuesday Women's Bible Study Begins
We are excited to announce that our Tuesday Women’s Bible Study will begin on Tuesday, September 23, from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at RISE.
This fall, we will meet weekly as we dive into a powerful study on the Holy Spirit through the video series by Anne Graham Lotz, Jesus in Me: Experiencing the Holy Spirit as a Constant Companion.
No study guide is required. Instead, participants will receive scripture passages each week to reflect on before our sessions.
Together, we will learn how to better listen to and walk with the Holy Spirit, both in studying God’s Word and in our daily living.
The study will conclude before December.

Tuesday Young Adult Study Begins
We’re excited to kick off our fall Young Adult Bible Study starting Tuesday, September 30th! This season, we’ll dive into the Book of Joshua in a powerful eight-session series led by Louie Giglio.
After roaming the wilderness for decades, God’s people finally reached the Promised Land. But there were still obstacles ahead—securing what God had promised required strength, courage, and faith.
In this video study, pastor Louie Giglio shows us how our stories today aren’t so far from Joshua and the Israelites: we need that same strength, courage, and faith as we face the challenges in our lives. Join Louie as he helps us discover what it means to follow God faithfully, no matter what obstacles stand before us.
Details:
Homework: 5 days a week (~10-15 minutes daily). Homework packets will be provided! Be sure to pick yours up before our first meeting.

Saturday Men's Bible Study Begins
“Everything in a man’s life hinges on the kind of man he is.”
Join us this fall for a 10-week Men’s Bible study rooted in the Apostle Paul’s letter to Titus. Together, we’ll walk through The Titus Ten, exploring ten essential qualities for biblical manhood: Gospel, Identity, Assignments, Authority, Character, Doctrine, Mission, Zeal, and Investments.
This study will challenge and equip you to grow in your walk with Christ and to become the kind of man God intends to use—in your family, your church, and the world. Each session includes reflection questions and group discussion to help you process and apply what God is teaching you.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 25th for a tailgate party at Perkins stadium in Whitewater, WI!
The tailgate will start around 11:00 AM, and the game starts at 1:00 PM. Free tickets to the game will be provided.

Soles for Jesus
Soles for Jesus collects new and gently used shoes to send to Africa. Many schools require children to wear shoes in order to attend, and there’s a great need among adults as well.
We are continuing to collect shoes throughout the year. Please drop them in the Soles for Jesus box near the front doors OR bring them to the volunteer event.
We’re so excited to tell you about another opportunity to serve at the Soles for Jesus warehouse on Saturday, November 15th from 9 to 11 AM. Please be on time and sign up by Sunday, November 9th to let the Soles for Jesus staff leaders know how many volunteers they will be having. You can sign up below!
The warehouse is located on 91st and Brown Deer Road in Milwaukee (8835 W Heather Ave, Milwaukee).
RISE Trivia Night
TRIVIA NIGHT IS BACK! We will be hosting another Trivia Night at RISE on Friday, December 12th at 6:30 PM! This has been a huge hit, and we can't wait to bring it back! It will be a fun and engaging evening filled with laughter, friendly competition, and a chance to test your knowledge on a variety of topics.
Teams will be randomly assigned prior to your arrival. For our planning, PLEASE be sure to register ahead of time so we can create the most seamless night possible!
Prizes will be awarded to the winners! You are more than welcome to bring a snack or refreshment to share. Additionally, we are taking a suggested $10 donation upon your arrival to be contributed to our Blessings in a Backpack ministry. It's going to be an awesome night!
WE ARE RISE Newcomer's Lunch
If you are newer to RISE, we have a great opportunity to get to know more about the heart, vision, and values! On Sunday, February 2nd after 2nd service, we are having a "WE ARE RISE - Newcomer's Lunch". We will provide lunch, and we expect to have you on your way home by around 1:00. This is a great opportunity to meet others and get to know who we are!
Operation Christmas Child Fall Bake Sale
Calling all Bakers – we will be having a Bake Sale on Sunday, September 14th at RISE to benefit the Operation Christmas Child ministry. Please consider signing up to donate baked goods to sell – pies, cakes, bars or cookies, just to name a few. All serving sizes will be accepted (whole vs. individual).
The sale will run from 10:15 AM to 12:15 PM Sunday morning September 14th. Please deliver baked goods to the fellowship hall at RISE by 9:00 AM on Sunday morning.
