Operation Christmas Child Collection - Year Round!
Every year at RISE, we partner with the ministry Operation Christmas Child to collect items for shoeboxes that are sent around the world to children in need. To optimize our impact, we collect items throughout the year! There will be a different suggested donation item each month, but any donations will be gratefully accepted.
Please remember, your donation needs to fit in a shoebox with other items!
Look for our new Operation Christmas Child collection bin by the front door.
Young Adult Summer Hangs
We’re excited for another summer of connection, community, and fun together! Whether you’ve been around for a while or are brand new, we’d love for you to join us at any of our Young Adult Summer Hangs this year!

RISE Family Fun Day
Mark your calendars for Family Fun Day on Saturday, August 29th from 12–4 PM! This is an all-church event, and we’re so excited to welcome our church family and community for an afternoon of food, games, and fun.
We can’t do this without your help! We need help with manning games, setting up, cleaning up, and more. Let us know if you can help by signing up outside of the Welcome Center.
When it comes to food, we will be providing burgers and hot dogs, but we would love if you could bring a dish to share!

Hour of Prayer
At RISE, we believe prayer is powerful and essential. On Wednesday, September 9th from 6:30-7:30 PM, we will be having another Hour of Prayer! It is truly a special time to be with one another and lift up prayer requests and praises to God. Everyone is welcome, and you will not want to miss it!
Men's Fall Bible Study Kickoff Picnic
Men of RISE, join us as we kick off the fall Bible study season with an afternoon of food, fellowship, and fun! Whether you're already part of a men's Bible study or looking to get connected for the first time, this is a great opportunity to meet other men at RISE and learn more about our groups.

Men's Fall Bible Study Begins
Join the men of RISE this fall for a 10-week Bible study as we explore The Unfolding Mystery: Discovering Christ in the Old Testament by Edmund P. Clowney. Together, we'll discover how the entire Old Testament points to Jesus Christ and deepen our understanding of God's redemptive story from Genesis to the prophets.
Have you ever finished reading an Old Testament passage and wondered, "What does this have to do with my life today?" This study will help answer that question by showing how every major person, event, and promise in the Old Testament ultimately points to Christ. As Jesus taught, all of Scripture tells His story—and this study will help you see that truth in a fresh and meaningful way.
Study Dates: September 19 – December 12
Time: Saturdays, 9:00–10:30 AM

Cost
The study book is $15. If the cost is a hardship, we are happy to provide a copy at no charge—just let us know.

Baptism Sunday
One of the most impactful days in the life of many believers is the day we follow Jesus into the waters of baptism. We will be having another Baptism Sunday on August 9th. Baptism is an amazing opportunity to publicly proclaim your love for and your faith in Jesus. We believe it makes Jesus smile when we obey Him.
Matthew 28:19 says:
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit…"
If you have placed your faith in Jesus but have not yet been baptized as a believer, we invite you to take this next step.
You can reach out to Pastor Jay or fill out a “Let’s Keep in Touch” card, available on the tables at the back of the Sanctuary or in the Welcome Center, and place it in the offering box at the back of the church.
